The Henry C. Ulen Foundation, named for the founder and benefactor of Ulen Country Club and the Town of Ulen, was established in 2010 as a charitable, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Operated independently from both the Club and the Town, the Foundation maintains its own Board of Directors and Bylaws. Its mission is to preserve, maintain, and enhance the historical integrity of Ulen Country Club—including its historic clubhouse and golf course—as well as the Town of Ulen, all of which were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
Through Foundation-approved grant requests, both Ulen Country Club and the Town of Ulen may receive support for capital projects that improve facilities, protect historic character, and enhance the overall community experience for members, potential members, and residents. Listing on the National Register also opens doors to valuable state and federal preservation incentives, grants, and other benefits. Funded by individual and corporate contributions, the Foundation offers donors the advantage of tax-deductible giving while providing essential support for projects that might otherwise fall to club members or town resources. Donations may be made through a member’s monthly club bill, by credit card, or by check payable to the Henry C. Ulen Foundation at 100 Country Club Drive, Lebanon, IN 46052.
